I'm in South Africa! Waka waka eh eh

Woooots I'm in South Africa, Johannesburg! What an exotic place right!
Here's the outfit of the day! Some leopard preens to match the theme!

The Shuttle took us to Nelson Mendela Square. Nelson Mendela is the guy who freed South Africa and made a change and here's a statue and square to honour his doings!

Had lunch at Ocean Basket. Its where Fish and Co originated from. This is much better than Fish and co I swear! The calamari is so fresh and juicy!

Brekkie at Wimpy before heading out to Lion Park!
Its about an hour drive from the hotel and its an open zoo! Its actually a Safari housing the lions (as the names goes) and other exotic african animals. How can one miss this out in South Africa!

Anthelops smelling each other's backside! Maybe its a sign of affection.

Do you know why the trees are cut in this way? So cute right?!
Cos the giraffees are at this height to eat the trees!

The Zebra prints are really beautiful!

The tour group on the truck where we look at them like exhibition and they look at us in the same way.

Came at the wrong time! Its early in the morning and all the lions are still zzzz-ing away. Wonder how they can sleep with such bright lights.

Would be interesting to see them being fed. Or would they be so hungry that they start eating humans!?

To differentiate male and female lions, its the hair! I always thought females would be those with hair, but NO! Its the male with that lion hair! So thats why Lion King has those bushy liony hair. The females are hairless!

The toilet is so cute! Lion and lioness. Imagine if you step into the toilet, ready to pee and there's this lion staring at you!

Went to the cubs den. The cubs are quite hyper and I'm kinda scared of them!

This cub is sleeping happily so quietly i sneaked a picture with him before we got chased out of the cub's den for the next group of people. Each group is only limited to 5 mins.

The giraffe is so docile. When you put food on your hand, they will stick out their long, black and slimy tongue and grab everything on your hand! Eeew, they've got black tongue! But they're quite cute when they don't stick it out!

We were stunned to see what picked us up at the hotel. a BMW! WOW! Atas hor!

In the land of oil, the cooking oil are sold at dirt cheap prices! But its too heavy to lug it back home!

Melbourne Falls

Crowne Plaza Promenade! Relatively nice room. Its across the river, so getting across to the town area takes a 15 minutes walk.

Morning! The sun starts to rise and I managed to wake up early to see the sunrise!

It was super cold walking along Queen's Bridge to the town area! Brrrr!

Saw this 2 girls in bicycle with angel wings. Wonder what they're up to!

Yellow Taxis on the road.

Met Jillian for brekkie at this place she recommended.

Ordered this egg with parma ham which she said was nice. BUT the ham was raw!!! I didn't like it =(

Hot chocolate where they give a pot of milk and a lump of choc in the cup and have to stir it togther with the lump of honey in the spoon.

I like the concept of the shop

Then, went to this macaroon shop at hardware lane. The exterior and interior looks very cute!

Its got heart shaped chairs in the shop and that makes it super cute! Didn't have a chance to sit in and enjoy the macaroon.

The macaroons are kinda ex, like 2.80AUD for one, but surprisingly its very nice and not sweet at all like the usual macaroons!

Then went to a electronic shop where the canon DSLR is very cheap! Its like only like 900sgd for Canon 600d!

Went back to the hotel area cos I was lazy to walk back holding so much stuff. Bought a few bots of wine and a bot of baileys, so it was super heavy! Took a tram back.

Headed to the southern wharf to the Direct Factory Outlet.

Sky got sunnier and not as cold as in the morning!

Walk past a cafe along the way - The Boatbuilders Yard and they've got interesting displays and furnitures.

Finally reached the DFO, Direct Factory Outlet where there's brands at discounted prices. Its opened from 10am - 6pm daily except for Fridays where they open till 9pm. Quite a rare sight since shops in aussie usually close damn early in the evening!

Its just beside the Melbourne Convention Centre, near to Hilton Hotel.

Was happy with buys from my fave brand - Forever New! Most of the nice clothes on disc are size 4, super small! But still managed to grab some buys, yay!

On the way back, saw many bird on the grass patch! There's a couple at the back happily enjoying the view, but its kinda weird cos many people are walking past the walkway. But guess they don't really care that much!
